Deodhar Trophy 2023: In the 10th league match of Deodhar Trophy 2023, the West Zone team registered a spectacular 6-wicket win against North Zone. In this match, an explosive inning of 83 runs was seen with the bat of Shivam Dubey, the left-handed batsman playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team in IPL. Batting first in the match, the North Zone team scored 259 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 50 overs. North Zone achieved the target at the loss of 4 wickets in 48.5 overs on the basis of Shivam Dubey’s brilliant innings.
North Zone team captain Nitish Rana decided to bat first after winning the toss in this match. Both the opening batsmen of the team returned to the pavilion till the score of 86. From here, Nitish Rana and Himanshu Rana played an inning of 54-54 runs while handling the innings. Apart from this, Shubham Rohilla also played an important role in taking the team’s score to 259 runs for North Zone, playing an unbeaten inning of 56 runs.
While chasing the target, the West Zone team lost its 3 wickets till the score of 90. From here, Shivam Dubey along with Harvik Desai and then Kathan Patel played an important role in helping the team win. A 138-run partnership was seen for the 5th wicket between Shivam and Kathan. Shivam hit 3 fours and 5 sixes during his unbeaten innings of 83 runs. At the same time, Kathan also played an unbeaten inning of 63 runs in 85 balls.

Shivam Dubey will be seen playing in the Asian Games
Shivam Dubey has also been included in the Indian team announced for the upcoming Asian Games to be held in China. Now Dubey has played 1 ODI and 13 T20 matches for Team India at the international level, in which he last played an international match in the year 2020. IPL 2023 season proved to be very good for Dubey in which he played many important match winning innings for CSK.
